3. Think of Your Wedding as an Investment — and Protect It
I know — wedding insurance isn’t the most glamorous topic. But when you’re planning a destination wedding in Europe, it’s smart to have a safety net. Whether it’s for peace of mind or the unlikely event of something big going wrong, it’s worth the small extra cost. You insure your holidays — why not your wedding?
4. Love the Imperfections
Truth: it’s the not-so-perfect parts that make weddings unforgettable. The wind picking up your veil, the spontaneous dance moment, the toast that made everyone tear up and these are the things people remember.
Some of my favorite wedding moments in Prague happened when something went slightly “off-plan” and they turned out to be the most beautiful memories.
With love from Prague,

Even the most organized couples will tell you, wedding planning has a funny way of throwing surprises your way. From minor hiccups to full-on schedule changes, something always seems to pop up. But here’s the good news: you’re not alone, and most challenges are easier to handle than they seem.
As a destination wedding planner based in Prague, I’ve seen it all and I’m here to tell you that the unexpected can still lead to something magical. You just need a little flexibility, the right mindset, and the right people by your side.
1. Flexibility Is Your Superpower
Even if your spreadsheets are color-coded to perfection, some things are out of your control — like the weather, last-minute vendor changes, or new rules from the venue. The trick is not to panic. Build in some breathing space. If you’re working with a planner (hello, that’s me), we’ll keep you calm and carry the stress for you. Your job? Stay present and trust the process.
2. Opinions Will Come - But Your Voice Matters Most
Here’s something many couples don’t expect: one of the hardest parts of planning is navigating opinions, especially from loved ones. Whether it’s your mother’s dream vision or your best friend’s playlist must-haves, these moments can be tricky.
But remember this is your day. I always guide my couples with kindness, but also with boundaries. Your wedding should reflect who you two are. It’s perfectly okay to say no, and I’ll be right behind you with elegant, tactful ways to do it.
