Recommendation
Hluboká Castle is one of the most breathtaking ceremony venues I recommend in the Czech Republic.
If you’ve always imagined saying your vows in a true fairytale castle, it’s difficult to find a setting more magical.
However, my recommendation doesn’t end with the ceremony.
Rather than staying nearby for the reception, I almost always suggest continuing the celebration in the beautiful UNESCO town of Český Krumlov, located just a short drive from the castle.
Over the years, I’ve found that this combination creates a far more memorable wedding experience. Hluboká provides the perfect fairytale ceremony, while Český Krumlov offers a wonderful selection of elegant restaurants, boutique hotels and historic venues where your guests can enjoy exceptional food, warm hospitality and the unique atmosphere of one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval towns.
It also allows us to create a wedding day that naturally evolves—from a grand castle ceremony to a relaxed and sophisticated evening celebration surrounded by the charming streets and riverside views of Český Krumlov.
It’s one of my favourite wedding combinations to recommend because it brings together the very best of South Bohemia: an unforgettable ceremony at Hluboká Castle followed by an elegant reception in the heart of Český Krumlov.
